Food Dairy: August, Thursday 31st 2017


Yesterday was a hard day food wise. I told my self in the morning I was going to eat under 500 calories because the night before I basically had a slight binge since it was M's birthday. Trying to get back on track is always hard for me, once I eat a larger portion of something sinfully tasty I always want more and more of it. The leftover Cheesecake in the fridge is calling to me as I type. But today is going to be a new and different day. I will eat under 500 calories today because I'm only planning/preparing on eating veggie soup. I'll make a biggish batch of the soup and slurp away all day(while also chugging water like a mad woman). I think I eventually want to try the "Cabbage Soup" diet which I heard works for a lot of people.  

Morning Blood Sugar 149 @ 9 am 
Breakfast: Two vegan multi vitamins 0 calories, 12 oz peppermint tea with 1 teaspoon organic sugar 16 calories. Three cups tap water. 16 calories total. 

 

Before Lunch Blood Sugar 141 @ 1pm 

Lunch:Salad of 2 cups raw spinach 14 calories, black pepper 0 calories, pickled italian style veggies(a few pieces chopped) 5 calories, 1/4 cup chopped pickled beet(with a little juice to dress the spinach) 26.5 calories, 1/2 cup chopped cold firm tofu 183 calories, 1/2 small pita bread cut into two wedges and toasted 38.5 calories. 2 glasses tap water. 267 calories. 


Before Dinner Blood Sugar 124 @ 3pm
Dinner: Gardein Vegan Meatless "Pulled Pork" Snack Pocket 230 calories, 1 cup Good Karma Dairy Free Probiotic Blueberry "keifer" 150 calories. 380 calories. Two glasses tap water. 

Before Dessert/Snack Blood Sugar 132 @ 5pm 
Snacks:One small slice Candied Lemon Blubbery Swirl Vegan Cheesecake 340 calories. Two cups tap water. 


Before Bed Blood Sugar 138 @ 9pm 
Exercise: Two hours of fast walking/ dancing around in my apartment while cleaning= 340ish calories burned. 1003 calories(consumed)-340 calories(burned)= 663 calories.
Total:663 calories.

At my skinniest I was 130lbs at 5'7(almost 5'8) and looked pretty thin but no where near as thin as her. I was running 5 miles a day without fail and eating only two meals a day plus I refused to take my insulin so I got extremely sick. I had to take liquid potassium for my heart/organs and be on bed rest for a few weeks after nearly passing away at the hospital. Hopefully with a lot of commitment and work I can get down to 120lbs. Which for me I think would be a good weight. This time though I won't be stupid and I will actually be closely monitoring my blood sugar and taking my medicine. Otherwise I will probably end up accidentally killing myself.
